Denbies Hillside gets a cleanup after fly tipping incident

Children’s toys, a tyre and a large number of bin bags were found on Denbies Hillside after a traveller encampment was moved on from the site.

The group was moved off the site near Dorking, which is owned by the National Trust, on Thursday, May 24.

Speaking on Tuesday, May 29, about the notice to leave, a National Trust spokesman said: “Working with the local authorities and Surrey Police, bailiffs served notice and the travellers left the site on Thursday (May 24).
